Home Information Packs (HIP’s)

As of 1 August 2007, if you are selling a home with 4 or more bedrooms, you need a Home Information Pack to show to potential buyers. The Pack includes an Energy Performance Certificate, containing advice on how to cut carbon emissions and fuel bills. Also included are documents such as a sale statement, searches and evidence of title. From the 10^th of September 2007, homes with 3 or more bedrooms marketed for sale will require a HIP.

We work predominately with one of the largest suppliers of HIP’s in the UK, PSG (the property search group). Our experience with PSG has been efficient and professional and their prices are possibly the most competitive around.
